Extensive steps
Go to https://myresearchmanager.com/NameCustomer . Log in with your username and password.
Attention: Does your organization use multiple modules within ResearchManager? In that case it could be that you first enter the module portal. Click on “EDC (Data management)”. Dependent on your settings it could be that you enter one of our other modules first. If you do not see “EDC (Data management)” in the top left corner of your screen, click on the logo you do see to get to the module portal. Then, click on “EDC (Data management)” as well.
Step 1: Navigate towards ‘Randomization’
Now you see the starting page. Click at the top, in the menu bar, on “Management”. Then, click on “Randomization” under the heading “Study-settings”. Do you not see this option? Click on the page ‘Setting up Stratification and Randomization’ to learn how you can add randomization to your study.
Step 2: Importing randomization codes
Now you find yourself on the settings page of randomization. Here you see all the stratification classes you made earlier at “Stratification”. If you have filled in all stratification classes and all randomization option completely, then you go on the randomization page to the tab “Randomization table”. To import randomization codes you first need to have generated a randomization table.
On the bottom right you can see the button ”Importing randomization codes”. The randomization in the table are by default the same as the randomization table. To avoid confusion, we recommend keeping it this way unless you want to test double-blind and the randomization-options give too much information to the researcher (if for example, the option is “medicine” or “placebo”).
Do you want to import randomization codes? Click on the button and in the pop-up that opens on “Download template”. Now, download a an excel file in which the current tracking numbers of patients and the corresponding randomization codes are. Change the randomization codes with your own codes here. Then, save the file and go back to the randomization page in ResearchManager.
Select in the pop-up ‘importing randomization codes’ the file you just saved and click on “Import”. Now the codes in ResearchManager will be replaced by your own codes.
