A thermometer is a scale of 1-100 that is shown in the CRF. The patient or researcher can give a value based on this scale.
On the tab “Specific properties” you can choose whether the thermometer needs to be shown horizontally or vertically. In both cases a scale of 1-100 is shown. You can also put a label on each end of the thermometer to clarify what value each side is.
Finally, you can choose to not show the values 1-100 which are normally are. By choosing this option you make sure the patient makes his choice based on feeling , instead of thinking if a certain number fits their current situation. In this case the values between 1 and 100 are still saved, only it is not shown to the patient anymore.
