Steps:
- Navigate through the main menu - > CRF -> Self Service -> Patients;
- Optionally sort on a site;
- Optionally (Un)block patients;
If you use Patient Self Service for a study, it is convenient to be able to see in a single glance which patients are participating at that moment and what the status of their participation is – have they already been invited, are they already done and blocked because of that, or does the invitation still need to be planned? You can find all of this in the patient overview of PSS.
Extensive steps:
Go to https://myresearchmanager.com/NameCustomer . Log in with your username and password.
Attention: Does your organization use multiple modules within ResearchManager? In that case it could be that you first enter the module portal. Click on “EDC (Data management)”. Dependent on your settings it could be that you enter one of our other modules first. If you do not see “EDC (Data management)” in the top left corner of your screen, click on the logo you do see to get to the module portal. Then, click on “EDC (Data management)” as well.
Step 1: Navigate towards ‘PSS patients’
Now you see the starting page. Place your mouse at the top, in the menu bar, on ‘CRF’, then on ‘Selfservice’ and then click on ‘Patients’.
Step 2: Look into PSS patients and (de)block them
Now you find yourself on the overview page of patients in the CRF. Initially, you see the patients that participate in patient self service of all sites. Per patient the patient number, whether the patient has been invited and if yes, when, and the status of the invitation is shown. If the status of a patient is ‘blocked’, you can click on the symbol in the column ‘action’ to undo this. Patients that have the status ‘invited’, can be blocked in the same way.
To show patients from a specific site, you select this site at the top of the page in the dropdown menu. You can sort the results in the table by patient number, date and time of invitation, and status.
You do this by clicking on the column titles, clicking one time will sort in alphabetical order (a-z), clicking two times will sort in the reversed alphabetical order (z-a), and clicking three times means they will not be sorted. You can also search in the fields ‘patient number’, ‘date and time’, or choose an option from the menu under status.
To (un)block multiple patients at once, you select the patients by checking the box on the most left column. Then you choose your desired action in the dropdown menu below the table and click on ‘Ok’.
