Steps:

- Add component filters;
- Click on ‘Search’;
- Possibly edit your workset.
Within bigger studies it could regularly occur that you want to see an overview of patients, based on already filled in data for one or multiple components. By using an overview you can easily see how many patients satisfy the search filters you set up. In this manual you read about how you formulate a search based on component data.
Extensive steps:
Go to https://myresearchmanager.com/NameCustomer . Log in with your username and password.
Attention: Does your organization use multiple modules within ResearchManager? In that case it could be that you first enter the module portal. Click on “EDC (Data management)”. Dependent on your settings it could be that you enter one of our other modules first. If you do not see “EDC (Data management)” in the top left corner of your screen, click on the logo you do see to get to the module portal. Then, click on “EDC (Data management)” as well.
Step 1: Navigate towards ‘Search CRF’
Now you see the starting point. Place your mouse at the top, in the menu bar, on ‘CRF’ and click on ‘Search’.
Step 2
Now you find yourself on the search page of the CRF. At the top of the page you set up a filter. You do this by first selecting a component. Then, you select the type of condition you want to link to it (contains, bigger than, equal to, empty, etc.). Dependent on the type you choose you can add a value to compare. Finally, you click on ‘Add’ to add the filter to your search. You can also save the filter – if you do this, it will be easy to get it back later when you click on ‘Your filters’.
You need to add at least one filter to a search , but you can also set up multiple at once. Then only the results that satisfy all filters are shown. Click on ‘Search’ to show the results.
Step 3:
Now you see all the patients that satisfy the set up filters in the search results. It can be that (a part of) these patients are not in your workset. This means that you do not see these patients with the CRF-information.
To change this, you select these patients (check the box to the left of a patient, or use the checkbox at the top to select all patients) and then click on ‘Update workset’. You can also deselect patients, If you click on ‘Update workset’ after, these patients will no longer be in your workset. By clicking on ‘Empty workset’, you no longer see patients on the page CRF information.
