ResearchManager is the ultimate tool for collecting and registering data. You can easily set up a research, create patients and enter data in the program. If you have the role of application manager within the application, then you have the right to make a completely new study. Here you can read more about how to do that.
Steps:
- Navigate through the Main menu - > Management - > Start new study;
- Fill in the basic information;
- Check any possible options (using patient self-service; randomization);
- Click on “Save”.
Extensive steps
Go to https://myresearchmanager.com/NameCustomer . Log in with your username and password.
Attention: Does your organization use multiple modules within ResearchManager? In that case it could be that you first enter the module portal. Click on “EDC (Data management)”. Dependent on your settings it could be that you enter one of our other modules first. If you do not see “EDC (Data management)” in the top left corner of your screen, click on the logo you do see to get to the module portal. Then, click on “EDC (Data management)” as well.
Step 1: Navigate towards ‘Start new study”
Now you see the starting page. Click at the top, on the menu bar, on ‘Management’. Then, click under the heading “New study” on “Start new study”. Do you not see these options? Then you presumably do not have the correct rights in the system to be able to start a new study. In that case, contact your application manager.
Step 2: Applying study settings
Now you find yourself on the page where you can add a study. Here you fill in the basic information about the study: number, name, start- and ending date, and a few other options you can check on o off.
Some options are only available when other options have been checked on first. Think of randomization options that only become available when stratification and randomization have been checked for the study. You can, if you want, also fill in a few lines with general study information.
Attention: When a study from CTMS is linked, it is no longer possible to remove the link. In that case a new study will have to be made. It is also not possible to remove the link between a study and CTMS at a later moment.
Step 3: Save and start study
Finally, you click on “Save” on the bottom left. If you want to cancel and not make the study, click on “Back”.
