Dear reader,
ResearchManager's EDC will be updated to version 6.12. You can read here which functionalities have been added and which improvements have been made. If you have questions about the Release notes, we are happy to answer them. Please send us an email at support@myresearchmanager.com.
In short
In this version, among other updates:
- It is now possible to add, answer, and close queries for each subsection status in CRF data entry.
- An optimization has been implemented for copying items in the template.
Read from this point onward for details on all the updates and their explanations.
Improved
- Adding, answering, and closing queries under (almost) every status
Previously, queries could only be added when a subsection was signed. We have changed this: it is now possible to add queries in every status of a subsection, except when the subsection is monitored. In that status, it is still possible to answer or close them.
- Optimization for copying template items and adding building blocks
Copying chapters, subsections, paragraphs, and components in the template and adding building blocks sometimes took quite a bit of time. We have optimized this process, making it much faster now.
- Audit trail consistent on all pages
It was occasionally noticed that the audit trail was not always consistent between different pages. For example, under the patient audit trail, the correct description was shown for single and multiple-answer components. However, this was not the case for the audit trail page within CRF. Here, only the values were shown without any context. This caused confusion, and it has now been corrected so that there is always a clear description.
- Financial code now available in patient activities overview
The financial code was already shown when opening the activities overview within the CRF. We have now also implemented that the code is displayed when opening the patient overview. The financial code can be used to clearly see what the activity is linked to.
- Improved validation on the user edit screen
Under management-> users and roles, it is possible to create and edit users. When editing a user, it was occasionally unclear if all information was entered correctly. This was because the notification that something went wrong was displayed at the bottom of the window. We have added new validation, using red highlights to quickly and clearly indicate what is incomplete. Additionally, the screen has been slightly enlarged.
