Dear reader,
The CTMS of ResearchManager is being updated to version 6.15. Please find below the list of added functionalities and improvements. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about the update. For inquiries, please email us at support@myresearchmanager.com.
In short
Among other things in this version:
- New component: read-only for documents
- Sending e-mails to users linked to a Research department is now possible
- Submitting a study and missing mandatory documents is a thing of the past, as these can now be made mandatory per status transition.
- Bugs, nobody wants them, so we fixed as many as possible.
Read below for details on all the changes.
New
- Read only document component
There is a new type of document component, in which we can show all documents linked to a study. This works as a read only component, so it is not possible to add, edit or delete documents from this component.
For the specific properties of this components we can select from which components it should show documents.
Improved
- Research departments as component for email templates
From now on it is possible to select research departments as a component for email templates in the option “Only send mail to users linked to the study via the following components”.
- Mandatory documents for process transitions
From now on it is possible to select mandatory documents in Management > Process transition > Add condition (“+”). This way the document type will be mandatory for transition. The existing default documents option remains unchanged.
- Equal optional columns for documents
The columns for documents within review components and the document component now have the same optional columns (excluding description & custom text).
Bug fixes:
- In some cases the column width for Question & Answer component was exceeding the usual limit. This is now fixed.
- In some cases a notification on a calculated component, using “today” as an option wasn’t sent. This is now fixed.
- When documents where sent between ERMS and CTMS the setting “Automatically add review documents to the documents tab” wasn’t checked. This is now solved.
