On the page ‘Process’ status transitions can be set. In ResearchManager different statuses are available. It is possible give the status changes (Management – Statuses) their own title. More about making a transition is described below.
Step 1
In the Main menu navigate towards ‘Management’ and select ‘Process’. The page with all the transitions will be opened (Step 2).
Step 2
Click on the button ‘’Add transition’’ at the bottom of the page. A pop-up with all options will be opened.
Step 3
In the pop-up the following fields will be displayed:
Old status:
Here the basis-status (for example, the status Application) can be filled in.
New status:
Here all other statuses can be linked. It is possible to go from status Application to for example status Application submitted, In review, Approved or Cancelled. You make a new Transition for every change.
It is also possible to lead the new status back to a status form earlier in the process. For example, status In review – status Application.
Roles:
In this drop-down menu roles that may apply to this transition can be selected. Multiple roles can be selected.
Automatically:
At the the selection of this option this study will automatically take the next status. This only works when there are no conditions attached to the transition. Here the server automatically checks every hour whether status changes have occurred.
Text Button:
Here an individual term can be attached to the button. For example, ‘To Review’. These buttons are shown on the page ’Study overview’.
Display confirmation:
At the selection of this option a confirmation pop-up will be displayed. This ensures that the possible unintentional click on a status change can be restored.
