Dear user,
ResearchManager's CTMS has been updated to version 6.8.2. Read here which functionalities have been added, which improvements have been made and what bugs are fixed. If you have questions about the Release notes, we are happy to answer them. Please send us an email at support@myresearchmanager.com.
In short:
- Version 6.8.2 is a smaller version with certain features and bugfixes.
- Bugs, nobody wants them, so we have fixed as many as possible.
Improved:
- Setting up rights for table components
For all components where we first used a number table, for example for documents, we replaced these my multiple-answer combo boxes.
This way it is now possible to further customize the rights. For a amendments it would be possible to give researchers the rights to edit an amendment, without removing the documents.
All rights that that where set-up have been converted to this method. If all rights where set-up correctly there is no need to make changes.
- Template builder
When editing the properties of a component in Management – Template, it is now possible to resize the edit pop-up to full screen!
Bug fixes:
- If you added the Tasklist to the Study Dashboard, or changed the view, the tasklist would appear empty. You needed to switch back to Home or any other page to get the tasks to be loaded again. This is fixed with this update, you do not have to reload the page anymore, the tasks are shown immediately.
- Inactive document titels could still be selected when adding a new document to a document grid, like tab Documents or Amendments. This is now fixed, inactive document titles can not be selected anymore.
- When you open a row in a grid component (like Amendements) by clicking on the little arrow on the left, you would see the documents that are added to the row. When you then click on one of the review options (approved, rejected) and then click on another tab, you didn’t get a warning-message that there were adjustments that need to be saved or otherwise will be lost. We have fixed this, by showing a warning when editing the review and then leaving the tab.
- In Management – Budget component, you should be able to move the items in the overview up and down to set a certain order. It didn’t work anymore. When clicking the move icon, nothing happened, but with this update this prblem is fixed.
- In a review component, like Amendments, you can adjust the setting if the row can be edited when the row is Approved/ Rejected. If you check both statusses it should be possible to still edit the row (ofcourse depending on your user rights in the status).
In this situation users should be allowed to delete documents in the row, but the delete button was disabled when you opened the row. However the delete button was enabled in the grid, as it should be. The delete buttons are now enabled in both spots.
